Played a game with the new flyer scenario from White Dwarf on Thursday, tweaked slightly as not many of us have picked up any flyers yet.
Grey Knights brought 3 Storm Ravens, Necrons had 2 Doom Scythes, and also counted our 2 Doomsday Arks and Monolith as targets for destruction.
It was 5000pts each side with Grey Knights attacking Necrons. We only managed to get through 3 turns before running out of time, with the Necrons managing to defend enough of our flyers to take the win.
Grey Knights came on swinging hard, but because of the reserve rules they rarely came on in large enough numbers to threaten the robotic hordes.
